Sworn Translators in France

This association of sworn translators is made up of professional linguists who translate from French or into French. Its translators are certified by an official France official agency or department.

Sworn translations, also known as official or certified translations, include the translator’s signature, his or her identification details, a stamp and a certificate stating that the original document has been faithfully translated into or from French. This type of service is usually required for the translation of official documents, notarial deeds, patents, contracts, company statutes or academic certificates to be submitted before an agency, court or academic institution.

The current French association of sworn translators is located in Strasbourg (France) and the translations signed by its members are acknowledged and officially accepted in France and other countries.
