Sworn Translators in Canada

This association of sworn translators is made up of professional linguists who translate from English / French or into English / French. Its translators are certified by an official Canada official agency or department.

Sworn translations, also known as official or certified translations, include the translator’s signature, his or her identification details, a stamp and a certificate stating that the original document has been faithfully translated into or from English / French. This type of service is usually required for the translation of official documents, notarial deeds, patents, contracts, company statutes or academic certificates to be submitted before an agency, court or academic institution.

The current Canadian association of sworn translators is located in Québec (Canada) and the translations signed by its members are acknowledged and officially accepted in Canada and other countries.
